The Humble Beginning of Kingston, Ontario Pioneering Church

Kingston City is two hours drive from Ottawa City and three hours drive from Toronto. Sis. Lily Rosello, from the local church of Ottawa, moved to Kingston because of her new job. This became an open opportunity for the church to start an extension worship in the place where she stayed. Bro. Elmer and the Kingston Team presently visits Sis. Lily every Sunday to have an extension worship. The Kingston team is composed of several Ottawa brethren: Sis. Analinda Tiangco, Sis. Emily Ramos, Sis Lily Rosello, Bro Elmer Medina. By God's grace, the extension worship is now officially a pioneering church. Last Saturday, April 11th, the worship was held at the Kingston Senior's Community Center for the very first time. This Community Center will be the temporary place of worship every Sunday. By God's grace, Pastor Joie Medina, the senior pastor of Ottawa Local graced the occassion and shared the words of God as the speaker. The worship was also attended by visitors. Sis Aileen Lagat, Sis Berna Macaranas, Bro Allan and Sis Pines Boni. Since it was a beautiful sunny day, the group went to Ontario Lake to eat thier lunch prepared by Sis. Lily and company. One should be thankful to God for the grace and victory He is giving to the pioneering work of Kingston, Ontario. When the Kingston Team went to Cataraqui Mall for the mall ministry, by God's grace the group met new friends and contacts to be invited on Sunday worships. Truly that God is merciful. He is the God that prepares everything for His Church. It is God's perfect will that His 4th Watch Church will be established in Kingston, Ontario. God prepared Bro. Allan and Sis. Pines as instruments to support the mission in Kingston, as they offered their home as accomodation for missionaries. We are thankful to God for their hospitality and kindness. The Kingston Team have testified the power of God that is moving mightily. As we offer ourselves to be used for God and the mission, He will also be the one to provide everything needed for His Church. May God continue to bless the pioneering work in Kingston, Ontario.
