International Convention 2009

The recent concluded International Ministers Conference and International Convention held in Malagasang, Cavite, Philippines was a great success. Ottawa Local has six delegates this year. So far the highest number of delegates. Last year 2008, we only have two. It was with great excitement that Ottawa Local delegates together with the delgates from around the globe gathered together to witness and be a part of the 20th International Convention.

The International Ministers Conference was participated by more than thousand of Ministers and Christian Workers of the PMCC 4th Watch from diffirent parts of the world. The theme of the International Ministers Conference was taken from 1 Thessalonians 2:4, "THE ENTRUSTED MINISTRY OF THE APPROVED MEN OF GOD". It was so wonderful to see all the servants of the Lord in the vineyard toiling for the salvation of souls of many people around the world and now gathering together to recharge themselves of God's power through His words and through fellowshiping with co-ministers and workers in the vineyard. The messages of the beloved Apostle together with the Bishops and Senior Ministers were very inspiring. The proof of the inspiring messages was the total re-dedication of all the ministers and Christian workers during the worship services. The "Ulat-Unlad" or "Progress Report" of each District in Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao to the Global Missions in Asian countries, Europe, Middle East and North America was also one of the inspiring moments. Watching the video presentaions and listening to the District Coordinators giving their progress reports give excitements and inspirations to all Ministers and Christian workers in the field. They were encourage to labor more for the ministry entrusted by the Master. As the Apostle reminded the Ministers and Christian Workers to excel in their ministries and soul winning, the Ministers and Christian workers responded with total submission and full dedication to the Lord.

As the International Ministers Conference was total blessed by God, the International Convention was also doubly blessed. This year's registered Conventionists was more than 10,000 while more than 4,000 of those registered stayed for full week convention. The venue was the ATF Sport's Complex in Malagasang, Imus, Cavite. All the delgates from around the globe was delighted to see the most awaited Sport's Complex. It was fully airconditioned and the cabins were well equipped to house more than 4,000 delegates. The messages from devotions, seminars and worships were very annointed to the edification and spiritual delight of all the delegates. Everyone was encouraged by God's words according to the theme of the 20th International Convention taken from Ephesians 4:13, "REACHING OUT FOR THE FUTURE GLORY OF THE CHURCH". Ottawa Local was totally blessed because God has allowed two brethren, Brother Even Gatdula and Sister Beth Jimenez-Gatdula to become new elders. We are looking forward for more Elders to be called by God in Ottawa Local. 

The 20th International Convention was concluded in Luneta Park on November 22 @ 4:00 pm. By God's grace, the closing service was well attended by more than 50,000 delegates. Truly, it was so wonderful to see how God has blessed His Church in the 4th Watch.  May God add more delegates from Ottawa Local to participate in next year's International Convention 2010.
