A Blessed New Year 2010 in Ottawa Local

The year 2009 was blessed by God for Ottawa Local. Though the brethren had also experienced many trials and difficulties, yet by God's grace eveyrone has testified the victory they have received from God. Some were affected by the economic troubles, others with family and financial difficulties yet everyone was given strength by God to overcome. Ottawa brethren have learned to completely submit themselves to God. Knowing that by themselves they cannot do anything, they have learned to put their trust to the God who can help them in their lives. As God has made the Ottawa brethren victorious, this new year 2010 will be a victorious year again by God's grace. A year of new beginnings and opportunities to serve God. A year of new dedication to do more for God's glory. A year of challenges and sacrifices to do the work of God. The Ottawa brethren continue to hold on to God's grace and promises. The Lord said "Never will I leave you, Never will I forsake you." Hebrews 13:5 (NIV)

We do not know what lies ahead. We do not know what year 2010 brings. But all we know is to put our trust to our God. The Lord Jesus said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in Me". John 14:1 (NIV) The Ottawa brethren holds steadfastly to the words and promises of our Lord Jesus Christ. As the brethren dedicated their lives unto God in Ottawa Watch Night and Dedication Service last December 31, 2009, all the brethren has the confidence that God will continue to sustain each and everyone of them. They continue to dedicate and give themselves fully to the work of the Lord. This new year 2010 is another blessed year for Ottawa Local. To God be all the glory!
